In the last few weeks, the federal government has published the draft bill for the toll reform, which provides for a toll adjustment of 15.8 cents per kilometer. This toll adjustment will come into effect as of December 1st, 2023, which means an adjustment of the toll costs of up to 83%. According to current projections, this could lead to cost increases of up to 10% in the transport industry
to lead.
Furthermore, it was already stated in this resolution that from July 1st, 2024 toll costs for vehicles from 3.5 tons. permissible total weight, which were previously not subject to tolls, will be introduced.
As soon as there is meaningful information, we will of course inform you directly.

UK HGV tolls will be reintroduced from 1 August 2023

HGV tolls in the UK will be reintroduced from 1 August 2023.
Non-UK HGVs have to pay the HGV levy when driving a lorry over 12 tonnes GVW on a UK motorway or A-road. The amount of the fee depends on:
the weight of the vehicle
the Euro emission class
of time spent in the UK
The charge must be paid before driving in the UK. Trucks from countries other than the UK can now use the following service to pay the levy for journeys made on or after 1 August 2023: https://www.gov.uk/hgv-levy
